During this special meetup, Fabio and Ilir, members of our Ionic Zürich community, are going to present their real life applications they have built with Ionic.

From a promising startup to an application developed for Red Bull used by many thousand users, they are both going to share their experiences and some of their favorite tips & tricks.

The 1st talk will be about Fabio's experience developing teyo.ch:

- What difficulties he faced while developing his mobile app with Ionic 3 and what solutions he found
- How he developed a distributed backend in ASP.net WebApi which serves as the API for the whole platform

About Fabio:

Fabio has worked as software engineer for over 15 years. Mainly on the Microsoft .net stack, but also with modern web technologies. He has worked in many industriers, currently as a team lead and software architect in the finance industry.

About his Project:

teyo.ch is a social network platform for people who love music and who love to dance. It was originally started as a self educational project. Meanwhile it has attracted a few users and it will be extended with more features.

The 2nd talk will be about the Wings for Life App for Red Bull, built exclusively in Ionic:

- They wanted to prove that Ionic / web-based Hybrid Technology is also ready for complex apps
- Makes heavy usage of Hardware / Native functionalities (Background Geolocation, Credit Card Payments, Social Sharing, Native HTTP, etc)
- Has automatic Build Pipelines (Continuous Deployment, heavy usage of Ionic PRO)

About Ilir:

- Founder of IRTECH, a small Development company based in Schaffhausen
- Bsc Computer Science (ZHAW), used to work as software developer the last 10 years
- Started programing with 13

About IRTECH:

Used to provide Native Development but started to focus more and more on Hybrid Technologies
