Aligning knowledge, capital and implementation to deliver measurable impact

This opening session of Climate Week Zurich will set the foundation for the week by unpacking the inextricable link between climate change, nature degradation, livelihoods and poverty. Drawing on research from the Crowther Lab and grounded in real-world restoration projects, it will explore why capital and action so often move too slowly — and what needs to change.

By bringing together perspectives from finance, community leaders, practitioners and corporates, the session will highlight the bottlenecks to action, possible scaling solutions and create a shared understanding of how capital flows and implementation must work together, to accelerate coordinated action beyond the Climate Week.
