Our Ecosystem
We are a hybrid for-purpose organization. Just like our community members, our partners and spin-off companies play a crucial role in the success and reach of Impact Hub Zurich.
Impact Hub Zürich
The Impact Hub Zurich AG, specifically our team of around 100 wonderful individuals, operates Impact Hub Zurich, our community, three co-working and event locations (Colab, Kraftwerk, Viadukt), two gastronomy spaces (Café Auer & Co. and our Café-Restaurant-Bar Kraftwerk), fine-dine catering, cultural events, as well as numerous other programs and events. Our company is profitable, but profit is not an end in itself for us. Instead, it serves as a means for the long-term sustainability and development of our organization. We have no external investors expecting financial returns.
Impact Hub Zürich Spinoffs
We are very proud to see former team members become entrepreneurs, taking Impact Hub Zurich programs to the next level as spin-off companies and organizations from Impact Hub Zurich AG. Johanna founded Diversify GmbH to promote gender equality and diversity in companies. Lorena and Leana used the former Factory program to start Reverse AG, an agency for service and experience design. Katka is the CEO and co-owner of Kickstart Innovation AG, the company that operates the Kickstart program and other programs on behalf of our partner, digital switzerland. Other former spin-offs include Futurepreneurship, the former Impact Hub program Summerpreneurship, and Stride Learning.
Our Partners
Like our community members, our partners also play a crucial role in realizing our corporate mission of a sustainable future. Without them, the impact of Impact Hub would not be possible.
Impact Hub Zürich Association
The Impact Hub Zurich Association manages philanthropic projects funded by foundations.
Impact Hub Switzerland
Together with the other five Swiss Impact Hubs in Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, and Ticino, we have established the Impact Hub Switzerland Association, where each Impact Hub has a board seat. Impact Hub Switzerland manages nationwide initiatives and partnerships for the development of projects such as the circular economy, Versus Virus, or Swiss Impact Hub Gatherings.
Impact Hub Global
Impact Hub Zurich is part of the global Impact Hub network with over 100 Impact Hubs and over 24,000 members worldwide. As a local Impact Hub, we have a voice in the global General Assembly of the Impact Hub Association based in Vienna, Austria.
