SAFT challenges early stage startups to accelerate Switzerland’s transition to a sustainable energy system by 2050. Five winning teams will take part in an intense startup boot camp, including an international market expedition to the San Francisco Bay Area. Entrepreneurs in the field of smart cities, energy efficiency, and distributed generation are invited to apply by November 13, 2015.

13. November 2016

Together with the other teams you will participate in a month long boot camp in Zurich, receiving training, mentoring and coaching to strengthen your business models and prepare yourself for an international market expedition to Silicon Valley.

Together with a representative from the other winning teams, you will spend one week in the San Francisco Bay Area. The customized trip offers you an opportunity to evaluate the potential of your business idea in a foreign market, meet potential customers and investors, and experience the local innovation ecosystem. You will be accompanied by representatives of Swisscom, Climate-KIC and Gebert Rüf Foundation.

After the trip, your team receives three months of incubation support at Impact Hub Zürich, including access to a stimulating co-working space, coaching services, events and workshops and connections to peer entrepreneurs and other valuable contacts.
