The event will start with a panel discussion on the topic of diversity where you will get to learn about the stories of some of the women featured in our 10 Women in Tech in Switzerland to Follow in 2023 and other female role models.

Our guests include:

  • Tanja Koch, co-founder of Amplo. She and her team enable businesses to gain valuable insights such as predictions and automated diagnostics from maintenance data originating from sensors in industrial machines. She is an inspiring female founder and a recent Forbes 30 under 30 recipient.
  • Andrea Rubik, founder of Resyfy and president of Women in Digital Switzerland, one of the largest female tech communities in Switzerland. She is a true leader and an inspiration for many women in the industry.
  • Damla Welti, president of LIMES ETH, an organization that brings together women, inter-, trans- and non-binary students studying mechanical or electrical engineering at ETH Zurich.
  • Maja Stamenkovic, IT consultant at Netlight with a focus on data science and data engineering. She is a strong advocate for more diversity in tech and is actively involved in a number of initiatives at her workplace to increase diversity and equity.
  • Carin Lightner, co-founder of ENANTIOS, a tech start-up that leverages advances in measurement technology to enable faster pharmaceutical drug discovery and development and more effective quality testing in manufacturing. Carin holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from ETH Zurich.

The panel will be moderated by Girls In Tech Switzerland’s Head of Community, Fabienne Lorenz, and the Female Founders Initiative Switzerland Lead, Merle Zur.

After the panel, you will get a chance to network with the female communities and discuss with our inspiring panelists. The perfect opportunity to meet like-minded people and share ideas on how we can all bring more diversity in tech, in the start-up world, and beyond.
