Extended deadline: Solve for Tomorrow 2020
Solve for Tomorrow is a global corporate citizenship initiative of Samsung. It was launched in 2009 and is implemented in more than 15 countries. At the heart of the initiative is a competition to encourage the most innovative project teams to implement their ideas that solve social problems and remove obstacles (keyword SDG 10) in order to create a more open society. In this year’s implementation of the support program, Samsung is working with the Impact Hub Zürich and Purposelab.
The “Solve for tomorrow 2020” competition is divided into 3 phases.
Online phase: From April 20 – May 27 (extended deadline) you can submit your ideas on solvefortomorrow.ch. During this phase, the community can give feedback and vote for their favourite projects. The voting result is part of the decision which teams will move on to the next phase.
Coaching Phase: From 18 September – 20 November, the 10 selected teams will develop their ideas further, together with the coaches.
Pitch Night and Crowdfunding: In January 2021 the pitch night takes place in front of a jury and audience. Three winning teams will be chosen, which will be further supported in the subsequent crowdfunding phase.
