STRIDE Lab | Community Building (fifth edition)

with Niels Rot (accomplished community building pioneer)

How can we go beyond networking and start building a truly vibrant & valuable community?

A community is more than a network. The promise of community is a collective with an engaging capacity for action, identification and support. In this STRIDE Lab, you will learn with and from the pioneer Niels Rot, an experienced and successful former community builder of Impact Hub Zurich, how to seed, build and cultivate your community. Deep learning and effective application is guaranteed through the immersive and fun workshop design as well as the practically-proven STRIDE Community Building Canvas that takes you step by step through your own case.

After the Lab, you will be able to:

  • Design and facilitate processes and formats to jumpstart or revive your community.
  • Differentiate various communities and assess their requirements, strengths & weaknesses according to their purpose.
  • Implement or motivate forms of leadership adequate for your community.
  • Learn and grow with your community based on a deep understanding of its (changing) purpose and promise.

STRIDE UnCertificate

Attending the workshop and fully completing the lab’s pre and post assignments (extra 18H), you will ensure your deep learning and best application in your context. You will also be rewarded with a professional certificate – the “STRIDE unCertificate of Completion”.

Limited Early Bird tickets are available.
