Mash Up | Sustainable Communities & Cities

Mash Up | Sustainable Communities & Cities

Cities are hubs for ideas, commerce, culture, science, productivity, social development and much more. At their best, cities have enabled people to advance socially and economically. Today, more than half of the world’s population now live in urban areas. By 2050, that figure will have risen to 6.5 billion people – two-thirds of humanity. Sustainable development cannot be achieved without significantly transforming the way we build and manage our urban spaces.

Join us for a night of inspiration & discussion about the future of cities & communities!

MashUps are community events happening simultaneously at Impact Hubs throughout the world where three selected Impact Hub members get a chance to share their ideas in Pecha Kucha format and can get on-the-spot feedback and questions from the audience. You can expect an entertaining and engaging evening where, besides getting inspired by the story shared by the participants, you can hear updates on what’s happening at your local Impact Hub and meet like-minded individuals over a networking drink.
