To leverage the huge potential of Digital Learning you need to rethink “learning” and, most of all, redesign ‘teaching”. Consistent and systematic use of the three characteristics of digital media, that are data based, interactive, and social, must be centerpiece.
In this Meetup, Swiss gamification expert Wolfgang Rathert will talk about how digital media literacy, combined with some fundamental rules of psychology and a user centered design approach can take you to a new level of “Digital Learning”.
Wolfgang Rathert, lic. oec. HSG, is an entrepreneur, business game designer and university lecturer. For 20 years, Wolfgang has been working with game design in leadership, innovation and transformation processes in companies. He is lecturer on gamification at the “swiss centre for innovation in learning (scil)” at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and the ZHAW. He also heads the CAS program “Digital Customer Experience” at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
