It’s Contest Time at Walk The Talk !!
“Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its 5-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.”
Capt. Kirk, commander of Starship Enterprise
SPRING CONTEST 2019:
It’s competition time at Toastmaster clubs around the world and Walk The Talk is no exception. Come see our stellar line-up of shooting stars, our crop of hopeful contestants, who boldly break onto the stage of competitive public speaking … some with lots of experience, some less so but nevertheless undeterred … For THEY TOO WILL BOLDLY GO WHERE THEY’VE NEVER BEEN BEFORE. And come out stronger for it. And be transformed, yes, that’s what Toastmasters will do to you.
Come support us and our members in this worthwhile and nail-biting endeavour as we continue to push the envelope, stretching the limits of our past performance.
Our Meeting & Theme:
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL BE MEETING BACK IN OUR USUAL PLACE IN THE SALON, GROUND FLOOR.
Birth of a new district:
District 109 has been born. We are now in this new district, no longer in District 59. Here is our Facebook page to find out more and connect with like-minded individuals spearheading our growth and development.
You’re very welcome to join our meetings as a guest, whether you are a beginning speaker or you already have some experience acquired as a Toastmaster or developed elsewhere. Come see for yourself, our inviting and warm atmosphere of learning and support … if our club will be a good fit for you!

Like all non-profit organizations, we rely on social media promotion to make ourselves known. This means we reserve the right to take pictures/videos of our events to post to Facebook/Twitter/Instagram etc. If you are uncomfortable about having your picture taken or posted, please let us know. We will do our best to respect your wishes. It behooves you to also make every effort to stay out of shooting range of our cameras so that our photographer is not unduly restricted in taking a good picture. Thank you very much for your understanding.
