This Meetup will be about the journey of "Becoming Teal" and how to actually reinvent organizations. For the first part of the Meetup, we will have the pleasure to take part in an experimental game with Kurt Specht (see information below). Don't forget to bring your charged phone!

In the second part of the evening, we will move to an open space session to work on particular topics of “Becoming Teal”, inspired by the game and participants’ inputs.

Feel Teal – a participative group experience

Intellectually, we try to grasp what a Teal workplace means and what it could be. In this brief experience, feel it. We are wired to collaborate well together but often it doesn’t feel that way because our organizations make it difficult.

In this Meetup, participants are invited to take out their mobile phones and participate in a massively collaborative experiment that can show we are in fact wired to work well together. This fun experience will give you a visceral understanding that we can be intelligent, autonomous and collaborative without bosses and hierarchy to which we have become accustomed.

As a project director, Kurt Specht managed large information technology projects and teams in his past career. During this time he observed that there are huge unused potentials residing in most all people. These characteristics, talents, and abilities are already present in everyone but not yet developed.

Kurt discovered that it needs the community with others to make these potentials unfold. He now guides companies to organize themselves in a way that allows them to collectively discover the individual potentials and to develop them as shared capabilities and skills.

Kurt will join us in Zurich with one of is partners, Johannes Meissner.
