Working together to reduce food waste

Every year, 2 million tons of food are being thrown away in Switzerland. A fact, that the Swiss-based FoodTech startup KITRO  wants to change. The company has developed a technology to reduce food waste in restaurant kitchens and canteens. In 2017, KITRO participated in our innovation acceleration program Kickstart – and through this launched a successful pilot project with the Swiss retailer Coop. And the story goes on ..
