social impact start: Vier neue Start-ups aufgenommen im Mai 2015

On April 29th a further stage of the social impact start Awards finished. 8 Start-ups competed against each other in front of approximately 80 spectators. Finally, four enterprises succeed to win the contest.

Dolsi wants to support the access to safe drinking water in developing countries. They plan to promote a device that can treat water with the power of a smartphone or a laptop.They develop technologies and promote them at a low cost for households in developing nations and outdoor adventurers.

 

Crowd Container is a shipping container that enables direct trade of agricultural products of faraway countries. It is full of sustainable products made by producers and ordered  online by consumers.

TeaRak brings premium quality tea with beautiful stories through long-lasting relationships and close collaboration with local people in hilltop areas of Thailand. The teas come from different hill tribe groups, offering unique flavors that represent each of them. TaeRak empowers the people and assist them with fair business practice.

Refugee Start-up supports refugees to find employment based on their knowledge, skills and personal aspirations. Through individual training opportunities based on sustainable networking, they support refugee entrepreneurs and enhance refugees´ participation in sustainable Swiss economy.

social impact start supports specificly prospective social enterprises of several towns in the DACH region. social impact start was developed by Norbert Kunz and the social impact in Germany and supported by SAP. In Switzerland the program is conducted by Impact Hub Zürich.
