Kosmopolitics

The conversations Zurich has been missing are back.

We’ve had plenty of debates. But fewer and fewer real conversations.

In a time of overlapping crises, growing polarization and constant information overload, we need places where we can meet again as people—not as opposing viewpoints. That’s exactly why Kosmopolitics is returning.

Following the legendary Monday evenings at Kosmos, Kosmopolitics is finding a new home at Kraftwerk, part of Impact Hub Zurich. The same spirit. A new chapter.

A space for courageous conversations

Kosmopolitics brings together people who are genuinely curious about different perspectives.

We create space for courageous, challenging and constructive conversations about the complex issues shaping our society, questions that don’t have simple answers.

Not to convince others.

Not to be right.

But to listen, to understand, and to think forward together.

Because we believe meaningful social change begins where people truly listen to one another.

What to expect

Each evening explores a question that matters to society.

Together with strong partner organisations and carefully selected guests from science, journalism, politics, business and civil society, we create a space where different perspectives come together.

Inspiring speakers

Experts from diverse backgrounds share their experience, knowledge and perspectives.

Open conversations

More than traditional panel discussions. No heated debates. Just conversations that spark curiosity and stay with you.

New perspectives

Kosmopolitics invites you to explore questions together, rather than rushing to easy answers.

Why Kosmopolitics?

Our society is facing complex challenges. More than ever, we need spaces where people with different perspectives can engage in respectful dialogue.

Kosmopolitics creates exactly that kind of space, open, curious and constructive.

Because meaningful change often begins not with answers, but with the right questions.
