The STARTUP CAMPUS and Innosuisse Alumni event will be held on the special topic of “Profit meeting purpose in social businesses and other impactful businesses”. Learn about the founders’ processes in building a social business in Switzerland, as well as abroad and get inspired. Two former STARTUP CAMPUS participants will present their startups and what has happened since the program - and of course: ask all your burning questions!

Ulrike Pfreundt

Ulrike Pfreundt is a German ocean scientist, entrepreneur, and curious thinker, whose award-winning work has been featured in scientific journals and traditional media alike. She is alumna of ETH Zürich and Silicon Valley’s Singularity University. In 2020, Ulrike co-founded rrreefs, a not-for-profit startup that rebuilds degraded coral reefs. Driven by their passion for the ocean and the urgency of dying coral reefs, Ulrike and her co-founders create eco-engineered modular reef systems to safeguard ocean biodiversity.

Pascal Brunner

Pascal Brunner’s (MSc ETH) curiosity, passion and determination, make him a natural entrepreneur. Having founded his first own company at age 15, Pascal has always had a keen interest in innovation and cutting edge ideas. In his leadership role, he brings together experts with complementary skills and empowers them to achieve optimal results. He is the co-founder of vatorex.

Luise Ammerschuber

Luise Ammerschuber is the Director and Founder of YESS Impact, specialized in SDG consulting, social business and impact investing. She is an advisor to major international organisations, the public and corporate sector, an international TEDx and Keynote Speaker and author of several guide books. In Uganda and Nigeria, YESS Impact is running impact projects, working with entrepreneurs and their communities. Luise is a mentor to entrepreneurs worldwide as well as an angel investor. She is an Ambassador of Maastricht University, a mentor at FeMentor and Grace – Female Business Accelerator and, an Ambassador for Mercy for Women and Youth Uganda and a community member of Female Business Angels and 2hearts. Luise has an LLM Master (Honors Program) in International Human Rights Law, a BA (Honors) in International Relations & Development Studies from Maastricht University and works in English, German, French and Spanish.
