How to Develop Resilience for Turbulent Times - Online

Objective: Developing inner Resilience to navigate the turbulent outer world

Target: Mid-level Managers, Change Makers, Senior Executives

Format: 3-hour module; based on interactive exercises
C.S. Lewis said, "You can't go back and change the beginnings, but can start where you are and change the ending."

In turbulent times, the emerging complexities can overwhelm us. What we need is resilience from the inside to navigate such times. The word Resilience has Latin roots with re (to back) and salire (to jump), where we recoil back again and again with a new consciousness and see the world with new eyes. The module leverages eco-philosopher Joanna Macy's spiral that reconnects that regenerates active hope in the midst of uncertainty.

Learn to:

a) Tap-in: the actions and awareness which has helped you in past situations. Relive the story of a previous difficult moment, and understand your inner sources of strength.

b) Cultivate: the ongoing resilience using Joanna Macy's "Spiral that reconnects." The model has four steps of gratitude, honoring our pain, seeing with new eyes, and going forth.

c) Go forth: Develop your practices and engagements to sustain resilience.
