DataBeersZRH are an informal networking event series for people working with data. Its aim is to facilitate the exchange of ideas between academia, industry, and public services. The events start with short (~7min) presentations by speakers from diverse backgrounds. Topics include research, data science projects, or ethical/privacy issues surrounding, big data as well as social and political issues of big data, data education. With DataBeersZRH we want to promote a sense of community among data scientists, researchers, students, and anyone interested in data and AI.
