My background is in Creative Industries and Economic Development.

As a Music Composer and Sound Designer, I’ve produced the audio to several award-winning interactive drama games, animations, and short films. (www.michaelreaneymusic.com)

As Manager of Isle of Man Film (www.isleofmanfilm.com) from 2012 to 2016, I was responsible for the Isle of Man Government’s domestic film industry, overseeing development, finance and production with external UK industry partners Pinewood Group PLC.

I’m experienced in Financial Management, having previously managed the Isle of Man Government’s capital grants and loans fund scheme which provides finance to SMEs and start-ups across many business sectors in the Isle of Man.

Personal career highlights include establishing both a short film fund and a film festival. I am currently studying for the ACCA Certified Accountant Qualification.
