Data that delivers: Technical solutions for pharma’s Scope 3 emissions

Data that delivers: Technical solutions for pharma’s Scope 3 emissions

Healthcare and pharmaceutical companies struggle to decarbonise because they operate in a highly regulated, energy-intensive, global, and safety-critical context where many emissions are outside their direct control. They face a major hurdle in decarbonising their supply chains, where the majority of their emissions sit and where visibility and influence are limited.

This event brings together industry leaders and sustainability experts to explore practical pathways for reducing Scope 3 emissions - from sourcing lower‑carbon materials and improving data quality through supplier engagement, to moving beyond spend-based data to support decision-making, and navigating regulatory expectations.

Participants will gain in-depth technical knowledge and insights to navigate data quality in footprint calculations including steps on how to include more quantity-based data in their footprint calculations, facilitating better tracking of decarbonisation initiatives, and save costs on their journey to Net Zero.

Speakers include:

  • Poppy Ashmore, EU Pharma & Chemicals Lead, the Carbon Trust
  • Benedicta A. Bakpa, Head of ESG, Bespak
  • Jack Judd, Associate Director - Manufacturing & Industry, the Carbon Trust
  • More to be announced soon
