Our keynote speaker: Michael Hagander

Michael Hagander is the CEO of Microcaps and co-founded it together with Alessandro Ofner in March 2019. The Startup is a direct result of Michael’s MSc in Mechanical Engineering and Alessandro’s PhD in Material Science at ETH Zurich, and their common entrepreneurial vision of becoming the new gold-standard in Microencapsulation.

Our Startup Campus Alumni Speaker: Awa Diagne

Awa Diagne and her colleagues were the award winners of the Business Concept Course in Spring 2020 with their startup Nemosia. They are developing a marker that makes neurological damage visible at a very early stage, which enables to diagnose Alzheimer much earlier than usually. Awa is a Computer Engineering graduate from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal and Strategy from HEC-Paris. She has over 15 years of international experience in business process optimization and digital transformation in Life Sciences and Natural Resources industries. Through her expertise, she will be able to implement industry best practices in the operations of the business and was therefore selected as the CEO of Nemosia.
