Singapore and Switzerland regularly compete for the top Fintech city in the world but many of their startups couldn’t be more different. Singapore is an excellent hub to tap into Southeast Asian markets where Fintech opportunities are particularly large (only 27% of people in Southeast Asia have a bank account, less than 10% of people have credit cards). It’s no surprise that investors from North America and Europe increasingly look to Asia where startups leverage technology to bring access and impact the lives of billions of people. In this event, we will hear from two startups based out of Singapore and serving emerging markets like the ​Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, etc.
